Maryland Publishes 2017 W-2 Filing Specifications and Instructions

Maryland's Comptroller's Office recently published the 2017 "Maryland Employer Reporting of W-2s Instructions and Specifications."  There are no record layout changes for Tax Year 2017.  The Comptroller's Office has increased the penalty for not filing 25 or more W-2s by machine media or electronically to $100.    To read the specifications in full, please follow the link.

Oklahoma Will Now Require W-2/W-3 and 1099 Filing for TY2017

Massachusetts Publishes W-2 Specifications

Massachusetts's Department of Revenue recently published W-2 Specifications for TY 2017.  The specifications establish that the Massachusetts DOR does not accept any magnetic media submissions of returns. Oregon Publishes 2018 Annual Interest Rate
