Confusion over Columbia Electronic Invoicing Mandate Serves as a Reminder that It’s Coming

In short, the DIAN sent a letter stating that businesses should voluntarily issue electronic invoices beginning June 1. “Voluntarily” was the key word there, as the Colombia mandate does not take effect until Sept. 1.
