On May 22, 2024, the Turkish Revenue Administration (TRA) announced new mandatory fields for e-Archive reports. Effective July 1, 2024, the signature time, shipment information, and tax rate fields must be included in e-Archive Invoices and several other e-documents. Consequently, the e-Archive Package and Technical Guideline have been updated to reflect these changes.

Additionally, the TRA stated that, starting from May 22, 2024, secondary copies of e-ledgers must be uploaded simultaneously via the GIB’s e-Ledger Application or through a web service. Prior to this change, these secondary copies were uploaded to the TRA system using the e-Ledger Storage Application (a desktop application).

This new requirement eliminates the previously allotted extra time for uploading secondary copies. Taxpayers must now upload these secondary copies directly to the TRA’s e-ledger portal. E-ledger guidelines have been also updated.
