The deadline for declaring the Insurance Premium Tax (“IPT”) on earnings such as commissions received by an intermediary in connection with the provision of insurance services, has once again been extended. The new deadline has been established for 20th October 2024.

The previously released return template has been also revised in order to incorporate the deadline extension. According to the return guidelines, the issued return shall be used to report the IPT on commissions due / collected between January 2024 and August 2024. A monthly return will need to be filed via post. The template provides the filing address and the bank account number where the payment should be made.
