The UAE authorities officially open the accreditation portal for companies that wish to become e-invoice Accredited Service Providers in the country.

Accredited Service providers must comply with the eligibility criteria and accreditation procedures for Service Providers under the Electronic Invoicing System, as it is established in the Ministerial Decision No. 64 of 2025.

The Accreditation process will follow the following steps:

  • Service Providers must fill out and submit their application online.

  • After the application is accepted, candidates must complete a pre-approval testing.

  • A Production Trail Run must be carried out to get a pre-approval.

  • The Tax authority will grant a pre-approval certification.

  • Pre-approved Service Providers must complete a tax data reporting testing.

  • After completing all the previous steps, the Tax Authority will grant the accreditation certification.

This accreditation process is essential since UAE taxpayers must issue and receive electronic invoices through an Accredited Service Provider (ASP) to transmit their e-invoices to the Tax Authority.
