South Carolina recently updated publication WH-405, its specifications for the state’s batch filing program for quarterly tax returns. This is the first update to the publication since August of 2021. While the specifications themselves remain unchanged, the document contains added information about how to file using the MyDORWAY system rather than the GoAnywhere system which was previously used for batch withholding file submissions.

The updated version gives an overview of the Batch Withholding Program and what the document covers. Following that are the various sections, including the process for Business Tax registration and Batch Withholding Program Application. The remaining sections cover requirements for filing, specifications, errors, and payment methods.
