Pennsylvania Transitions from e-TIDES to myPATH Tax Portal

The State of Pennsylvania is sunsetting its online tax platform known as “e-TIDES” and transitioning to its new “myPATH” portal. There are a couple of changes to the filing process in this change:

  1. e-TIDES did not enforce the CSV columns to be in a particular order, but myPATH will only accept files in the order in the specification;
  2. e-TIDES allowed users to upload only records that were good and remove records in error, myPATH will only accept the entire file and all records must be good

Upon review, there have been no changes to W2/1099 specifications so far during this transition. All specifications currently on the myPATH portal are accurate and up to date as of this writing.
