December 14, 2017

The Department for International Tax Cooperation for the Cayman Islands updated their AEOI news page, announcing that the AEOI Portal continues to be offline.  The reopening of the Portal will be updated both through an Industry Advisory notice as well as on the AEOI Portal News and Updates page, linked below.

Additionally, the DITC reports that the AEOI Portal team cleared a backlog of technical inquiries, issues, and requests emailed to the AEOI Portal Mailbox, and continue to work through the remaining FI termination requests.  The DITC further advises that all users who sent emails prior to September 13, 2017 that were not related to FI terminations should resend those emails.
