Andy Hershey is a seasoned sales and GTM (go-to-market) executive with over two decades’ experience driving growth for industry-leading technology companies. As Sovos’ Chief Revenue Officer, Andy leads the global direct sales and sales engineering organizations, bringing to this role a proven track record of building high-performing teams.
Throughout his career, Andy has played a pivotal role in scaling sales organizations at all growth stages, successfully positioning companies to achieve their next level – including acquisitions and IPOs. He is known for his ability to transform sales teams and processes, achieving efficient growth and exceeding revenue targets.
Prior to joining Sovos, Andy served as Chief Revenue Officer at NS1. His dynamic leadership fueled growth from both new and existing revenue streams, ultimately sparking a successful acquisition by IBM. Prior to NS1, Andy spent a decade in progressive leadership roles at Splunk, ultimately serving as its Global Vice President, Cloud Sales and GTM Transformation. Among his accomplishments there, he applied go-to-market expertise and sales organization skills to transform a $6M incubated offering into the rapidly growing billion-dollar + Splunk Cloud (SaaS) business. At OPNET, his effectiveness in building and scaling sales teams and processes contributed to the company’s acquisition by Riverbed Technology.
A sought-after speaker, Andy has appeared at top industry conferences hosted by AWS, IDC and more.. He has also served as a guest lecturer on sales leadership at the MIT Sloan School of Business.
