At our Insurance Regulatory Summit, we announced the launch of the Web App, a new browser-based interface for the Sovos Statutory Reporting solution. The Web App is an addition that can further help users  comply with statutory reporting and state filing requirements.

The Web App was created for and by Sovos users to deliver a modern and intuitive interface for the powerful back-end Sovos Statutory Reporting solution, without the involvement of IT. This new interface makes it easier to navigate via a browser, while also allowing users to access the solution in real-time instead of by downloading and managing software. Organizations can take advantage of enhanced security control through the use of single sign-on technology.

This new, simplified navigation will deliver the technology and customer-centric design needed to meet the quarterly and annual filing obligations of our insurance statutory reporting customers. The Notes to financial statements are contained in one tab, combining the functionality of data capture elements and formatting into one page. All calculations are live and dynamic with the option for users to easily export to Excel.

Over the coming months, Sovos Statutory Reporting customers will be eligible to utilize the Web App, which has been in use by an early adopter group since Fall 2020. Select customers will have access to the interface for their upcoming Q3 filing.

Sovos’ Web App is the next generation of statutory reporting. In the ever-evolving world of tax and regulatory reporting, businesses face real challenges. Sovos’ Web App for statutory reporting is an intuitive tool that allows us to fulfill our promise of offering complete, complex and enhanced solutions for our customers.
