John Sileo, who has spoken at the Pentagon and to Visa, Pfizer and the FDIC – among many other institutions – will headline the Sovos Intelligent Reporting Summit in Denver in October.
A leading expert on cybersecurity and identity theft, Sileo draws on his experience as a victim of identity theft to entertain and teach audiences about transforming cybersecurity awareness into action. At the Sovos event, his interactive cybersecurity presentation will forge a high-level, non-technical path through the sometimes confusing web of human decision making, network security, mobile technology, the Internet of Things, social media and cloud computing.
One of only 300 people to be inducted into the Speakers National Hall of Fame, a group that includes Colin Powell and Ronald Reagan, Sileo has spoken to elite corporate and governmental organizations, including Homeland Security, Northrop Grumman, CVS, Charles Schwab and the Federal Trade Commission.
Media outlets often seek out Sileo as a cybersecurity expert. He has appeared on 60 Minutes, Anderson Cooper 360, Fox News and NBC, and has been quoted in The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal and The New York Times.
Sileo has authored several books on cybersecurity, including the award-winning Privacy Means Profit.
