Introduction to Business and User Management
At Sovos E-way bill platform, all GSTINs related to one organization can be grouped together. Further, if the entity has multiple operating units within the state, these can be included in the structure as additional place of business.
Defining the business and setting up NIC credentials for them is the first step in getting started with Sovos E-way bill solution.
Now there are two options
Option 1: If the hierarchy is already set up in Sovos GST Compliance solution or E-invoicing Solution you just need to update the GSTIN details with some mandatory details like address, Pincode, POB, NIC username and password.
For detail, process click here.
Option 2: For new users who are not using Sovos GST Compliance solution or e-invoicing solution, they can create business hierarchy by adding legal entity under the root business by clicking “Add Business” to which they got access. Then GSTINs can be added under that legal entity by clicking on “Add Taxpayer”. NIC eway bill portal user name and password need to be added here. Additionally the users can also add different place of business using “Add Place of Business” option.
For detail, process click here.
