Here in the busy January tax and filings season, we’re kicking off the new year with some compliance highlights.
- California: The state has created a new annual frequency for the California Distributor Report. You can now subscribe to this return frequency in your ShipCompliant account.
- Georgia: The state has updated the ST-3 Sales and Use Tax Return with minor changes.
- Hawaii: We've added DBA name to the Direct Shipment of Wine by Wineries return in the Supplier Name field and changed the Address field to pull physical address onto the return.
- Nevada: The state has updated the link for eFiling the TXR-01.01a Combined Sales and Use Tax Return and has also switched the LIQ-STC Supplier Liquor Excise Tax Return - Sales to Consumers and LTD 04 Report of Shipments of Alcoholic Beverages to eFile only.
- Ohio: The state has updated the URL for e-filing the Full UST-1 Data File Upload and Taxify Sales Tax Worksheet. You'll see the new URL in your ShipCompliant account.
- Oregon: For AutoFile clients, the state CERA - Wine Self-Distribution Statement will now appear in your account to be filed even when there are 0 orders on the return. The return was being automatically marked as filed when there were 0 orders.
We've also fixed the following:
- In Market Ready, we've fixed a bug that was pulling all labels in a group onto a registration, preventing you from submitting only a non-primary label.
- In Market Ready, we've fixed an issue where Minnesota registrations were charging registration fees for all COLAs in a label group rather than simply for the label submitted.
We’re looking forward to seeing many of you at our annual Wine Summit, May 21-22 in Napa. We’ll have a variety of learning and product training offerings and networking opportunities on tap, so you can get to know us in person.
