The State of the Industry
Jim Watson is a Senior Analyst in Rabobank’s Research group covering the North American beverages sector, based in New York. He studies the big consumer and industry trends that are shaping the beverage world, with a specific focus on coffee and beer, and a view towards helping the industry understand what is coming next.
Prior to joining Rabobank, Jim spent ten years as an equity research analyst at HSBC covering the global beverages industry. While at HSBC, he focused strategic and thematic issues, especially industry consolidation, corporate valuations and emerging consumer trends. Jim earned a BS in Economics from Duke University and holds a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
