Even in the summer, we’re never on vacation from tracking regulatory updates and changes. Here’s a selection of highlights and news from the last month.
- Alaska: We've fixed a problem with nexus settings. Now, when Economic Nexus is selected, we return appropriate sales tax rates for "Alcoholic Beverage Only" jurisdictional taxes in Alaska, including Anchorage. We also added a new town (Scammon Bay) to the state Remote Sellers Sales Tax Return.
- New York: We updated the ST-810 return with state changes, including a new rate for Suffolk County.
- Tennessee: We've removed subscription options for the state Distributor Shipment Notice and Invoices report, since submission is no longer required.
- Virginia: We updated the ST-1 return to properly differentiate between city and county addresses on the PDF.
We’ve also fixed a problem with the All Sales by State analytics report. You'll now see wholesale sales appear on the graph.
Stay tuned for more on all of these regulatory changes and stay cool!
