Product Updates: June 2020
In addition to maintaining our tax and compliance capabilities, the product team has been busy preparing for our second-largest filing season, July. We’ve also been plugging away at some exciting new initiatives, and here’s a peek at two.
Single Sign On Capability
We are in the final stages of testing our recently developed SAML 2.0 SSO (Single Sign On) functionality. This new subscription offering will allow Sovos ShipCompliant clients to utilize their organization's current Access Management Software (such as Okta or Microsoft Azure) to quickly and securely access the ShipCompliant portal. In Progress: PRO Renewals via ShipCompliant
On the Product Registration Online (PRO) side of the business, we are actively working on capabilities within our ShipCompliant Market Ready product to submit and track PRO renewals (Arkansas, Louisiana, Minnesota, South Dakota, Oklahoma, New York) via a new subscription. This subscription will allow for state fees to be applied to monthly ShipCompliant bills and for tech fees to be waived, thus further simplifying and streamlining the submission of product renewals for PRO states. Since Market Ready is already used to submit and track all active registrations, why not add PRO renewals to the mix? Stay tuned for updates as this effort nears completion and launch.
