Winter weather may be sticking around a bit longer, but the heat of regulatory updates and changes is always on! Here’s a roundup of highlights from Sovos ShipCompliant’s regulatory team from the past month.
- Florida: We've updated state DR-15 Sales and Use Tax Return with minor changes.
- Illinois: We've updated the Illinois ST-1 and ST-2 Sales and Use Tax Return to reflect the adjusted timely filing discount cap of $1,000.
- Iowa: We've updated the state Sales and Use Tax Return with minor changes, including a new link to the state website.
- Maryland: We've updated state Forms 324 Resident/Non-Resident Report of Beer Shipments with minor changes.
- Michigan: We've updated the Sales, Use, and Withholding Taxes Return and Form 5081 Annual Sales Tax Reconciliation Report with minor changes, including a change to deduction line 5J.
- Nebraska: We've updated Form 10 State and Local Sales Tax Return with minor changes and a new jurisdiction (city of Minatare).
- North Dakota: We've updated the North Dakota Sales and Use Tax Return with rate changes (City of Ashley, 2% rate; City of Mandan, 2.25% rate; City of Turtle Lake, 3% rate).
- Ohio: We've updated the Ohio UST-1 Data File Upload to add an .xlsx file compatible with the state reporting system.
- South Dakota: We've added an annual frequency for the South Dakota Sales and Use Tax Return.
- Vermont: We've updated the Vermont SUT-451 Sales and Use Tax Return to add a new jurisdiction (City of Berlin, 1% tax rate).
- Wisconsin: We've updated the Wisconsin ST-12 Local Schedule and Schedule of County Sales with a new jurisdiction (County of Manitowoc, 0.5% tax rate).
Within ShipCompliant we have also:
- Added Truist Bank to our list of banks supported for Positive Pay.
- Updated Sales and Use Tax Returns for Missouri, Texas, Louisiana and Illinois with minor changes.
- Fixed a bug that was causing Blocking Exceptions for import files containing more than 100 orders.
- Fixed a problem where expired COLAs were able to be selected to be registered in Market Ready.
- Fixed a problem preventing UPS shipment statuses to be updated in ShipCompliant in a timely manner. You'll now see accurate UPS shipment statuses on the Delivery Dashboard.
