Favorite part of your job: The constant learning. I am new to both the beverage industry and the ShipCompliant product space, so it has been a learning curve for me, but I love the challenge. Understanding the benefits that my work has on our clients is a big motivator for me.
Favorite beverage and why: My favorites change depending on the season and occasion. There is not much that I don’t like, and I love trying new things. My family is big on cooking and entertaining, so wine is usually the go-to for that. My favorite varietal is Pinot Noir.
Describe your ideal setting for enjoying your favorite beverage (and what might that beverage be?): One of my favorite places to be is Lake Vermilion in northern Minnesota, so the ideal setting would be a sunset cruise on the lake with a cold beer, some music playing and make a couple of fishing stops along the way. Minnesota summers are unlike any other so we have to take advantage while we can.
What out-of-state beverage do you wish could be shipped directly to you?: I have traveled to many states and tried many breweries along the way but the one that stands out is the Funky Buddha Floridian Hefeweizen. It is a beer made just outside of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. It is so refreshing and flavorful with some notes of citrus. A perfect beer for hot weather.
