This summer, we’re staying on top of regulatory changes so you can stay cool and compliant. Here’s a selection of highlights and news from the last month.
New and Improved
Iowa
We added Excel file upload support for the Iowa Sales and Use Tax Return. You can now upload local option sales data for Schedule E using an XLSX file instead of entering it manually on the form.
Texas
We added a prompt for missing distributor license numbers on the Texas C-205 Nonresident Sellers’ Report of Wine Shipments. You can now see if the distributor license information is required and add it before submitting the report.
Compliance
We removed outdated widgets from the State Details sidebar.
Registrations
We added South Carolina to the PRO Renewals page. You can now manage South Carolina spirits license renewals from PRO Renewals.
Age verification
We lowered the IDology age verification price to $0.45 per verification and removed LexisNexis as a provider option. If you currently use LexisNexis, switch to IDology before July 31, 2026 to avoid any interruption. Read about how to change age check vendors.
Bug Fixes
Reports
We fixed a problem where the New Hampshire Liquor Commission Direct Shipping Monthly Report failed to upload.
AutoFile
We fixed an issue where scheduling a report frequency change for a future date didn’t remove the previous frequency, which caused duplicate reports to generate for the next period. The system now correctly replaces the old frequency when you schedule a change for a future date.
Illinois
We fixed a problem that was causing duplicate location lines on the ST-1 and ST-2 Sales and Use Tax Returns. We also improved location name readability by abbreviating long site names.
Indiana
We fixed a problem with the collection allowance calculation on the ST-103 Sales and Use Voucher. The timely filing discount now calculates correctly based on your fiscal year sales tax liability.
Colorado
We fixed a problem that was causing incorrect reporting codes on the Colorado Retail Sales Tax Return XML. The report now maps jurisdictions to the correct reporting codes.
Orders
We fixed a problem that was causing order history to show incorrect fulfillment location and order details. You can now see accurate information when viewing changes in order history.
Case configurations
We fixed an issue that treated 30-count cases with 355 mL containers and 12-ounce containers as duplicate case configurations. You can now use both configurations.
Licenses
We fixed an issue that prevented federal licenses with the United States as the region from displaying in the new Licenses view.
PRO Renewals
We fixed an issue that charged a $10 processing fee for South Carolina spirits renewals completed through PRO Renewals. This fee is included in your annual plan.
REST API
We fixed an issue where REST API requests failed during concurrent request limit checks. The requests now complete the check without returning a server error.
Regulatory Updates
Colorado
We updated the Colorado retail delivery fee calculation to reflect the new fee amount of $0.31, effective July 1, 2026. This change applies to returns first due in August 2026.
Iowa
We added EDI upload support for Schedule E local option sales on the Iowa Sales and Use Tax Return. You can now upload local option sales data using the state-provided template.
Texas
We updated the C-205 Nonresident Sellers’ Report of Wine Shipments to require distributor permit numbers. You now see a prompt to add missing distributor licenses before filing the report.
Arkansas
We updated the file name for Arkansas Quarterly Direct Shipper Report attachments sent to the state.
The file name now includes:
- Your permit number
- Company name
- Report title
- Quarter
- Year
