The dog days of summer haven't slowed down the pace of innovation and regulatory activity this August. Here's everything you need to know from this month's busy landscape as we start gearing up for fall.
New and Improved
On the Combos and Kits products page, you can now Select all and Delete combos.
When registering packets containing multiple COLAs, you'll now only see one tag per packet on the Registrations page.
Bug Fixes
WineDirect tracking imports: We've fixed a problem with the WineDirect tracking import file. You can now import the tracking file directly into ShipCompliant again without changing format.
Regulatory Updates
We've added new reporting codes for Colorado, Illinois, Louisiana, Missouri and Texas.
California: We've updated the CDTFA-401-A2 Sales and Use Tax Return with minor changes.
Colorado: We've updated the Retail Sales and Use Return so that the new VBT lodging tax does not show on the return. We've also updated the Retail Delivery Fee return with minor changes.
Georgia: We've updated the ST-3 Sales and Use Tax Report with rate changes: Clinch county - 3%, Stewart county - 4%, Telfair county - 4%, Thomas county - 4%, Washington county - 5%.
Idaho: We've updated the Distributors, Wholesalers, Wineries, Direct Shippers, and Brewers of Beer over 5% Alcohol by Volume Tax Return to reflect state changes.
Iowa: We've updated links to filing websites for the state CB-1 & CB-2 Report of Shipments of Wine, Report of Shipments of Beer and the Iowa Report of Shipments of Wine to Iowa Consumers. Also, since the state no longer requires label registrations for wine and beer products, we've removed these options from Market Ready.
Nebraska: We've updated Form 10 State and Local Sales and Use Tax Return with minor changes.
North Dakota: We've updated the Sales, Use, and Gross Receipts Tax Return with rate changes: City of Dunseith - 2%, City of Langdon - 3%.
South Dakota: The state has removed the discount associated with e-filing sales and use tax returns.
Tennessee: We've updated the SLS 450 State and Local Sales and Use Tax Return with minor changes.
Vermont: We've updated the SU-451 Sales and Use Tax Return Form with new jurisdictions (Hartford - 1% tax rate, Marlboro - 1% tax rate, Montpelier - 1% tax rate, Ludlow - 1% tax rate).
