PRO Expands to South Carolina!

White sandy beaches aren’t all the Palmetto State has going on these days. South Carolina is also the most recent state to adopt the PRO system for accepting wine and beer label registrations. Although it may not be as exciting as a Hilton Head vacation, we’re happy to announce that wine and beer licensees can now submit label registrations online via PRO! If you use PRO in the other 15 states that take advantage of this system, you’ll be very familiar with the easy workflow. Label registrations can be submitted and managed via ProductRegistrationOnline.com and approved labels can be viewed on the state’s Active Brands Site here.

Here are a couple key points to ensure quick turnaround time:

License numbers: When entering in your license number, make sure it’s formatted as a nine digit number starting with “320” (example 320123456).

State Fees: For the moment, only wine and beer labels can be submitted via PRO to South Carolina. We’re working closely with the state to allow spirit registrations via PRO as well. Wine and beer registrations done via PRO have a $5.00 transaction fee

Distributors and Territories: South Carolina wants to know your distributor on wine registrations, and both your distributor and territories on malt registrations.

As always, our support is free and unlimited and can be reached at support@productregistrationonline.com or (303) 996-2356.
