As solution principal, Tim Roden works with customers to navigate the complicated and ever-changing sales and use tax landscape. Making sense of the complex is what motivates Tim and is central to his belief that to be successful, you need to eliminate distractions. The more complex something is, the more distractions it creates.
Since joining Sovos, Tim has been a fierce advocate for the cloud, helping guide several Sovos clients to realize the functional and operational benefits of migrating to this newer, more efficient technology.
Tim is a natural problems solver and prioritizes building relationships with those who can help solve complex problems. He finds great satisfaction in cultivating connections that lead to solutions.
When not focusing on tax, Tim enjoys coaching Little League baseball and flag football – typically decked out in Sovos gear.
Tim is a proud Wake Forest alum where two critical life skills were attained, the reading discipline to make dense tax code easier to understand and the ability to critique authentic barbecue cooking.
