Ashvin Malkani joined Ontario Teachers’ in 2002 and has nearly 20 years of private equity investing experience. He has been involved in a number of transactions at Ontario Teachers’, including Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment, CTVglobemedia, Doane Pet Care Company, North American Oil Sands Corporation, Q9 Networks, Datapipe, Ascend Learning, Metronode and TierPoint. Ashvin is presently based in London and leads the Global Technology, Media and Telecommunications group. He currently serves on the board of directors of 24-7 Intouch, Camelot Lottery Solutions, Compass Datacenters, Inmarsat and Premier Lotteries Ireland.
Prior to joining Ontario Teachers’, Ashvin was an Analyst at TD Capital, the private equity arm of TD Bank Financial Group.
Ashvin received a BA from Western University and an MBA from the Schulich School of Business at York University.
