The Turkish Revenue Administration (TRA) has recently issued new technical guidelines and updated e-invoicing technical packages in response to the revised e-invoicing rules targeting Charging Network Operations and Charging Station Operators.

This development follows the enactment of General Communique No. 550 of the Tax Procedural Law in October 2023, which mandated e-invoicing for licensed Charging Network Operators and Charging Station Operators.

On December 29, 2023, the TRA released the Technical Guide for Invoicing of Electric Charging Services alongside an updated version of the E-Arşiv Technical Guide. Under the new regulations, these operators are obliged to report the data of each e-invoice to the TRA immediately upon issuance. The announced updates and published changes are set to be officially implemented from January 2, 2024.
