In October 2025, the Turkish Revenue Administration (Gelir İdaresi Başkanlığı) announced another extension to the implementation deadline for the “Technical Guide for Invoices Related to Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Deliveries”. The last extension was announced in June 2025.
Under the revised timeline:

The deadline has been extended from 1 October 2025 to 1 December 2025 for taxpayers engaged in pharmaceutical and medical device trade

For pharmacies and optician establishments, the 1 October 2026 deadline remains unchanged
The extension was granted following taxpayer feedback regarding the time needed to complete required system developments. The Administration confirmed that the e-Invoice Package will be updated to reflect these changes and published shortly.
This affects all taxpayers enrolled in the e-Invoice system who engage in pharmaceutical and medical device trade. The Technical Guide specifies required fields and formatting standards for e-Invoices in this sector.
