The Independent Authority for Public Revenue (IAPR) has made some updates to the MyDATA system in recent weeks, including technical and regulatory changes. The changes include the following:

  • The Ministerial Decision A.1138/2020 was amended by Decision A. 1090/2022, which includes changes regarding the obligation to transmit data to the myDATA digital platform. As a result, taxpayers who use the ERP method to comply with requirements must transmit the data regarding retail or wholesale transactions to the MyDATA platform by the day after the issuance date unless otherwise specified in law.
  • The Ministerial Decision A. 1098/2022 was published in the Official Gazette. The decision established the mandatory interconnection between electronic tax mechanisms (FIMs) and payment card terminals (EFT/POS) from 01.01.2023.
  • The updated technical specifications (v. 1.0.6), in line with the above changes, were published in the test environment.
