On 10th September 2024, the Danish Guarantee Fund (DGF) issued an order concerning the rate of contributions payable by insurers for 2025.

The following non-life consumer policies will be subject to DKK 10 contribution:

  • Family insurance policies

  • Homeowners insurance policies

  • Health insurances

  • Change of ownership insurances

  • Seller liability insurances

  • Building/Construction damage insurance

  • Motor insurance policies

The rate of these risks is currently DKK 40.

The rate of the industrial injury insurance policies remains the same as today, DKK 30 per policy.

A new obligation was introduced to motor liability insurance policies at a rate of DKK 5 per policy. This obligation, however, does not apply to foreign insurance companies based in the EU/EEA region and writing motor liability insurance business in Denmark on a freedom of services (FoS) or freedom of establishment (FoE) basis.
