The Ohio Department of Taxation releases electronic filing specifications for forms W-2 and 1099-R for the 2022 tax year. The due date for filing both W-2 and 1099-K has been changed from March 2, 2022 to January 31, 2023. Additionally, the threshold and limits for Social Security wage base, employer and employee tax rate for Social Security, Social Security and Medicare coverage have been updated, and years in the distribution codes have been updated.
