Kansas recently released an update to its Withholding tax guide, Publication KW-100. Though minor updates have been made, this appears to be the first full revision since 2017. Throughout the document, references to 2017 have been updated to 2021, and several minor grammatical and formatting changes have been made. Additionally, the tables have been updated with the most current withholding brackets.
The address has been truncated for the Taxpayer Assistance Center – now called “Tax Operations” – to PO Box 3506
Topeka, KS 66625-3506
The only other notable change was that the publications listed in the end of the document no longer include Publication KS-1220, Kansas Sales and Use Tax Refund and Publication KS-1221-PEC, Kansas Sales and Use Tax Refund (for use by PEC entities).
