IRS Publishes 2018 Form 5498-ESA and Instructions

The IRS recently released the 2018 Form 5498-ESA and Instructions. This form is used to report contributions, including rollover contributions, to any Coverdell ESA. A Coverdell ESA is a trust or custodial account created or organized in the United States for the exclusive purpose of paying the qualified education expenses of an individual who is the designated beneficiary of the trust or custodial account.

There were no substantial changes to either the form or the instructions.
