San Tan Valley, Arizona is a newly incorporated town and passed Ordinance 2026-06. The ordinance imposes transaction privilege taxes beginning October 1, 2026. The general applicable rate is 2.25% with certain categories subject to a higher rate, such as construction subject to a rate of 5%. Finally, food for home consumption will be subject to a 2.25% rate beginning January 1, 2027.
