New Jersey has published a 2019 version of its Form NJ-REG, Business Registration Application, as well as the Business Registration Forms and Information publication. NJ-REG is used to apply for a new business, move a previously registered business to a new location, amend an application for an existing business, apply for an additional location of an existing business, apply for a Business Registration Certificate (BRC), employ domestic household employees, and withhold income taxes for employees residing in New Jersey. The publication provides background and instructions regarding various types of registration requirements and contains each form type.

The only revisions are some formatting changes, there are no substantive revisions; however, filers should use this version of the application rather than the previous one. The information provided in the publication has not changed, though there are some slight changes to formatting, verbiage, and arrangement. Likewise, these versions of these forms should now be used.
