July 8, 2019

The D.C. Office of Tax and Revenue recently updated their Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) Guide. This publication provides information regarding EFT payments including bank information for payments, TXP and Addenda Record layouts, and tax type codes and definitions.

The most recent update added two changes to the publication, which are as follows:

  • A code for Sports Wagering Tax was added to the ACH debit block: the code is 753600113D, which is shared with other tax types including Alcoholic Beverage and Gross Receipts tax.
  • Quick Pay is no longer an option for taxpayers paying through the online portal. Taxpayers must log in to MyTax.DC.gov to make payments.
