As part of its Covid-19 Action Plan, British Columbia has postponed its previously announced expanded provincial sales tax registration requirements for Canadian sellers of goods as well as Canadian and foreign sellers of software and telecommunication services. These new requirements were supposed to go into effect on July 1, but instead have been delayed until further notice.

Sovos will closely monitor the situation for additional information.
