Centralized Exchange (CE)
In Centralized networks invoices are issued and exchanged through the central platform. Sovos connects to the central platform allowing the user to automatically send and receive electronic invoices.
Decentralized exchange (DE)
Decentralized systems may require, or not, Real-Time Reporting (RTR) / Near real-time reporting. Decentralized systems which require Real-Time Reporting (RTR) / Near real-time reporting call for both interoperability between the parties' service providers and interoperability with the Government platform to allow the reporting of data in real/near real time to the authorities - Hungary and South Korea
Clearance
The Centralized network may perform schema checks and provides Clearance to the documents by applying a digital seal and transmitting the document to the counterparty. Sovos covers this type of mandate, in the case of Romania for example.
Peppol
Decentralized networks without reporting, only require interoperability between the parties' service providers, - like in mandates which make use of the 4-corner Peppol network to exchange documents, such as Belgium or Germany.
