David Woodworth and Swati Garodia selected to build and transform critical operation areas for global platform company
ATLANTA, DECEMBER 10, 2024 – Sovos, the always-on compliance company, today announced the appointment of two executive leaders. David Woodworth joins Sovos as its chief financial officer (CFO), where he will lead all finance, accounting, tax and treasury matters of the company while overseeing financial integrations. Swati Garodia assumes the role of chief product officer (CPO), where she will lead the product, design, and content organization, set the company’s product strategy and work closely with the technology organization to accelerate Sovos’ platform vision. Both executives bring to Sovos extensive experience and expertise in leading global teams while delivering high-quality results for large portfolio companies.

Woodworth joins Sovos from insightsoftware where he has served as CFO for the past five years. David brings with him nearly 20 years of finance experience with both public and private global companies across the software, technology, services and analytics & data intelligence industries. His experience includes mergers and acquisitions, private equity sales and debt and equity offerings across the Americas, Europe and Asia. During his career, David has spent time at Ernst & Young LLP, while also serving as CFO at Trilliant Networks and M*Modal.

Garodia comes to Sovos with more than two decades of strategy, product, and commercial leadership experience in global, mission critical enterprise SaaS companies. Swati joins us from Paycor where she served as chief strategy officer, leading Strategy and M&A while revamping the partnership P&L and establishing new growth channels. Swati’s career experience also includes more than 10 years at Thomson Reuters, where she served in various executive leadership roles including as the global head of products for the $1B+ tax & accounting professionals’ business unit. During her career, Garodia has led several organic and M&A-driven platform transformations to drive scale and accelerate growth.
