Sovos and Axway Software Partner to Reduce Complexity of Global Tax Management

November 24, 2020

Sovos’ global solution for tax determination, continuous transaction control compliance and tax reporting reduces the potential risk associated with regional providers for Axway Customers

As part of this partnership, Sovos’ tax solutions will be packaged with Axway’s AMPLIFY e-Invoicing Services, enabling Axway customers to access the full capabilities of the Sovos platform via a unified interface. This creates a single solution for customers to manage all their global invoice compliance challenges, eliminating the confusion and errors often associated with regional or country-specific solution providers.

Axway has been helping customers connect and integrate with their trading partners for decades. Through their AMPLIFY™ platform, they provide their customers access to a wide array of services and solutions that can be seamlessly connected without having to abandon existing applications or software.

“This partnership with Sovos enables us to offer our customers a single interface to manage all their tax compliance requirements no matter where they conduct operations,” says Roland Royer, Axway chief customer officer. “Customers can now rededicate resources to strategic initiatives while we solve their tax problems for them.”

Businesses are under pressure to move indirect tax compliance from the relative calm of periodic reporting to the mission-critical live exchange of their invoices and other key trading documents. By integrating its AMPLIFY e-Invoicing Services with Sovos, Axway ensures its customers do not need to worry about their invoice flows meeting ever-changing requirements as tax law enforcement becomes more real-time.

“Sovos fits into this model perfectly as we integrate with any existing system or infrastructure to solve tax challenges globally,” said Christiaan Van Der Valk, vice president, strategy, Sovos. “Global reporting is becoming stricter, more complex and enforcement is ramping up. Companies can no longer afford to patch together makeshift solutions from local providers. They need a robust, global solution to meet the requirements of government overseers.”

Solution capabilities under this partnership also address the issue of scalability. No matter how many transactions are completed or how many different jurisdictions are crossed, tax compliance is being managed seamlessly. Businesses can move forward with confidence knowing they are operating under the latest guidance set forth by government entities and that they are meeting all their compliance obligations.
