As regional vice president of sales, Trent sets strategy and drives execution for the Sales and Use Tax line of business in North America. This role includes leading teams that manage existing clients and teams charged with new business growth.
Since joining Sovos in 2013, Trent has held various leadership roles across both the Sales and Use Tax, and Global VAT lines of business. In each of these positions, he has successfully built and managed teams that executed on company strategy.
His philosophy for running a successful sales organization revolves around attitude, drive, and the ability to embrace change. With change comes opportunity, and those who approach change with the right attitude and drive will outperform others. He also believes that a company is only as good as it’s culture and works to help define and mold the sales culture at Sovos.
When not in the office, Trent is passionate about the outdoors. Whether spending time with his family at the lake, on the links with friends, or traveling somewhere new, that is where Trent is in his element.
