As vice president of brand marketing, Rebecca Joyner leads a team charged with shaping and sharing the Sovos story. Responsible for brand, content and digital marketing, internal and external communications, and events, her team collaborates with colleagues across the company to build connections with key audiences.
A hands-on leader who applies analytical thinking to creative program execution, Rebecca prioritizes human, bold, positive and helpful marketing. Since joining Sovos, she has led the communications strategy and brand integration for more than a half dozen acquisitions and has amplified the voices of Sovos experts to analyze the forces at play in a rapidly changing market.
Outside of work, Rebecca spends her free time teaching her kids the importance of teamwork and grit — by driving them to and from their sports events. She earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of New Hampshire and a master’s degree in teaching from Salem (Mass.) State University, completed fellowships at the Poynter Institute for Media Studies and the National Endowment for the Humanities, and graduated from YW’s LeadBoston program for socially responsible leadership.
