There are any number of ways tax compliance can increase risk and cost in your purchasing process due to the high propensity for errors in tax application coupled with increased audit scrutiny. We’ll break down the leading practices for automating tax compliance along the procure-to-pay process. During this session, you will learn how you can improve efficiency, remove manual processes and reduce risk by:
  • Understanding the most common data gaps in the purchasing process and the corresponding audit risk.
  • Developing a data strategy to help ensure you have the information you need to automate use tax calculations on employee purchases, purchase orders and supplier invoices.
  • Streamlining processes for managing the complexity of one-off purchases, P-Cards, use of inventory and other use tax events auditors will analyze.

During this session we will also demonstrate how you can use an automated Tax Determination Engine to help drive efficiency and accuracy in the process, saving you significant time and money. All attendees will receive a useful guide to help you identify your technology and process gaps so you can leave the meeting with a solid plan of action moving forward.
