Ley 2573 de 2026: Cómo prepararse para las nuevas exigencias en la prevención del fraude y la validación de identidad
La transformación digital ha acelerado la apertura remota de cuentas, la originación de créditos y la firma de contratos. Sin embargo, esta evolución también ha conllevado un aumento en los casos de fraude y suplantación de identidad.
A esto se suma la reciente actualización normativa en Colombia, donde la Ley 2573 exige a las instituciones financieras implementar mecanismos más robustos para validar la identidad de sus clientes y conservar evidencia suficiente que demuestre cómo se realizó el proceso de autenticación y aprobación.
En este nuevo panorama, la cuestión ya no es solo si una institución valida la identidad de un cliente, sino si puede probar, con evidencia, que dicha validación se realizó correctamente.
