Nuevos plazos para la Factura Electrónica 4.0 en Brasil

El 31 de mayo de 2017 la SEFAZ (Secretaría de Hacienda brasileña), organismo vinculado al Ministerio de Hacienda y principal autoridad tributaria en Brasil −presente en cada estado del país−, publicó una nueva Nota Técnica sobre la Nota Fiscal Eletrônica (Factura Electrónica en Brasil, NFe por su sigla en portugués) 4.0, comunicando que el plazo se postergó al 2 abril 2018.

La NFe 4.0 significa un cambio importante en el mercado, e incluye una estructura en archivo XML, nuevos campos de llenado, nuevos datos, protocolos modernos de comunicación y nuevos servicios disponibles en la web. A pesar de afectar a todos los emisores de facturas electrónicas del país, la nueva versión tendrá un impacto positivo tanto en el área de TI como en los negocios. Se estima que aproximadamente 1,3 millones de empresas deberán adaptarse al nuevo diseño de la NFe 4.0.

Cronograma de plazos:

  • Desde el 1 de junio de 2017: las empresas ya pueden comenzar a probar su NFe de acuerdo con la nueva versión y requisitos.
  • A partir del 1 de agosto de 2017: entra en vigor la NFe 4.0.Todas las facturas electrónicas se validarán bajo los nuevos parámetros.
  • A partir del lunes, 2 de abril de 2018: la versión 3.10 será desactivada, y no estará más disponible.

Antes de este último cambio realizado sobre la Nota Técnica 2016.002, el plazo para la desactivación de la versión 3.10, que utilizan actualmente las facturas electrónicas, era el 6 de noviembre de 2017. El principal objetivo de la SEFAZ con respecto a la actualización a la NFe 4.0 es perfeccionar la calidad de la información y la precisión de las informaciones proporcionadas por las empresas en Brasil.
