We would like to invite you to a special VAT automation event, “VAT in a Digital Age”, taking place on the 9th of June at the Brown’s Hotel in London, 1.30pm – 6.30pm. Are you part of the 80% of organisations that are still using manual labour for VAT compliance processes? Do you want to save valuable time, money, and penalties by streamlining your process? The constant technological developments on the tax administration side to overcome staff shortages will soon force companies to adjust their manual processes to keep up with newly set requirements. Our VAT automation event will help you gain in-depth understanding of the latest developments in the field of VAT Technology as well as how to solve the resulting complexities across Europe.

VAT Process Improvements & the Benefits Using Automation

We are delighted to announce our guest speaker: Chris Lewis – Director, Indirect Tax at Ernst & Young UK (EY) Chris will be speaking about the challenges many of his clients are facing across Europe and how technological advances are increasingly affecting multinational organisations in relation to VAT and beyond. He will discuss how technology is one of the key drivers in indirect tax and how his clients are adapting to rapidly changing requirements. Our complimentary event will focus on the rise of digital advances in relation to VAT and how to tackle related challenges. The VAT process of today and the future means being well prepared to have the processes in place that allow you to do more with less resources. Casper Winkelman, our General Manager and co-founder of VAT Resource, a Sovos Compliance company, will also deliver a hands-on presentation about solving VAT process challenges. He will address how to overcome specific hurdles most VAT managers face today and how to avoid escalation of those issues, to serious business issues affecting the overall organisation in the future. The event will take place on June 9th at the prestigious Brown’s Hotel in London and will start at 1.30pm. In addition to our exclusive speakers, we will offer a complimentary drinks and canape networking session to share experiences and best practices as well as an in depth question and answer opportunity.
