With more than 50-years helping professionals succeed in their career, our Sovos Booke regulatory team is known and trusted throughout the insurance industry and is the premier compliance destination for information and emerging trends in tax, regulatory reporting and compliance. Our team of educators share their knowledge and experience to teach the nitty-gritty of insurance accounting and reporting content through real-world examples to reinforce concepts and keep participants current on regulatory changes.

Course Offering Spotlight

One of Sovos regularly offered courses is the Statutory Accounting Principles for life, health, and property & casualty. This course helps broaden your existing knowledge of statutory accounting theory found in the NAIC Accounting Practices and Procedures Manual. In our upcoming Sovos Insurance Regulatory Summit 2020, we will be offering a session on statutory accounting principles updates. This session will be covering new and recently revised statements of statutory accounting principles (SSAP’s) for insurers.

Meet Glenn Sackett

Our spotlight regulatory educator is Glenn Sackett. Glenn helps to deliver insurance accounting education to professionals in the life and health insurance industry. Given Glenn’s almost 40 years in the insurance industry, he has led all aspects of finance and accounting functions, with extensive hands-on experience with Statutory, U.S. GAAP and IFRS. Glenn enjoys family time when he’s not teaching. He finds time to coach his grandson and other 5-6-year-olds in the fundamentals of baseball. T-Ball at its finest! Glenn also enjoys volunteering in many ways for his local church.
