The British Virgin Island’s Ministry of Finance recently announced an extension for reporting under the Common Reporting Standard (CRS).  CRS reporting had previously been due July 31, but a in a June 28 press release, the Ministry announced the due date will be August 18 for reporting 2016 information.  CDOT information, now reported as part of the CRS, is similarly due August 18.

In addition to the extension for reporting, the Ministry has also extended the deadline for enrollment in its account reporting system (BVIFARS) used for CRS reporting.  Registration for the system was originally set to close June 30, but the Ministry will now accept applications until July 31.
