We at Convey Compliance Systems Inc., an industry leader for third-party tax information reporting, will soon host our fourth annual New York Regional Summit on Thursday, Aug. 7 from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Eastern Time. The event will take place at the New York Marriott Downtown, located at 85 West St., Manhattan, NY 10006.

As the U.S. government creates new policies in an effort to close the tax gap, there are many new requirements and increased penalties for noncompliance, thereby making the tax reporting process more complex. Due to the changing regulatory environment, organizations must stay abreast of the changes in order to maintain compliance with tax regulations.

Our free summit is your opportunity to join us and other industry leaders while we discuss the pressing and emerging topics that are currently the talk of the tax reporting world. You’ll have the chance to see how the current compliance environment affects your organization, determine efficient practices to reduce costs and operational strain, and connect with industry peers and experts. Additionally, you can earn up to four continuing professional education credits.

Some of the topics to be discussed are challenging Phase III cost basis reporting requirements, preparing for the Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA) and the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development’s Common Reporting Standard (CRS), prepping for insurer and employer requirements of the Affordable Care Act (ACA) and getting ready for new penalties and “B” Notices for various forms.

Be sure to register for this free event and gain insight into the biggest issues in the tax compliance industry. Lunch will be provided for all guests.
