Announcing the appointment of Andy Zupsic as COO and Jack Walsh as CFO

Sovos Compliance is proud to announce the additions of Andy Zupsic as Chief Operating Officer and Jack Walsh as Chief Financial Officer.

Mr. Zupsic and Mr. Walsh bring additional depth to an already experienced and seasoned leadership team. They join Andy Hovancik, President and Chief Executive Officer, Joe Healey, Chief Sales Officer and Troy Thibodeau, Chief Marketing Officer who have combined prior experience that includes working at all sizes of software companies as well as large corporations such as Honeywell and Pricewaterhouse Coopers.

As Sovos Compliance’s Chief Operating Officer, Andy Zupsic provides strategic, operational and programmatic support to the organization. Mr. Zupsic brings over 33 years of experience with leading technology companies in the software, hardware, networking and application development industries. He started his career at IBM and has held senior roles at Microsoft, Juniper Networks and Progress Software. His strong background in sales, professional services, technical support, channel development, field operations and strategy will contribute to the continued stages of growth and development that Sovos Compliance is currently engaged in as it expands.

Andy Zupsic is leading the professional services, client support, compliance services and tax research units and is accountable for the service delivery and content development operations of the company.

Jack Walsh joins Sovos Compliance as Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Walsh has more than 30 years of experience in finance, strategy and corporate development that will help support the company’s growth and development. Before joining Sovos Compliance, Mr. Walsh worked for many large companies including IMS Health, where he served as Senior Vice President of Payers and Government and Corporate Development and closed more than 40 acquisitions. Most recently, he served as the CFO as well as Interim CEO at SRSsoft.

Mr. Walsh directs the finance, legal and corporate development divisions of the organization. His primary responsibilities include overseeing accounting, planning and budgeting as well as all strategy involving mergers and acquisitions that will help shape the future of the company.

With the goal being to grow an already robust company specializing in tax compliance and reporting solutions, this expansion of the leadership team is the next step in the evolution of Sovos Compliance.
