SAP Helping to Lead the Way in Creating a More Sustainable Planet

SAP recently announced the launch of an initiative that will plant one tree for every online purchase made on SAP Store and SAP App Center. This program is part of a larger project with a goal of planting 5 million trees by 2025.

This is not the first initiative of its kind for SAP. The company has previously announced sustainability programs to help customers pursue their climate-related goals, including the Climate 21 program and the SAP Product Carbon Footprint Analytics application. This helps customers analyze their greenhouse gas emissions so they can reduce their carbon footprints and contribute to the UN Sustainable Development Goal 13, Climate Action.

As a proud partner of SAP, Sovos is pleased to support this initiative and stands with SAP in its pursuit of creating a better and more sustainable environment for all. At Sovos, our company mantra is that we Solve Tax for Good® This has a dual meaning, the first is that we are using our collective expertise and technology to solve a tremendously complex global problem once and for all. The other, we help governments and communities solve their tax problems so that they can improve and enrich the lives of their citizens.

Like our friends at SAP, we share ambitious goals that we believe will make our planet and communities better places to live and create the type of sustainable environment that is necessary for future generations. We applaud their efforts and are pleased that we can contribute in our own small way by making our products and solutions available through the SAP Store and SAP App Center.

We encourage all our business partners and customers to help support this great initiative in any way they can. The fact is, we only have one planet and it’s our collective responsibility to take care of and replenish it whenever and wherever we can. Through their dedicated efforts SAP is helping to lead the way and we congratulate them on their commitment.
